Houston PCs Continue to Dominate in the Polls
Under Premier Tim Houston’s leadership, Nova Scotia’s Progressive Conservatives continue to surge in public opinion, widening their lead over the opposition.
A new Abacus Data poll shows the Houston PCs at 52% support province-wide. The NDP trail far behind at 23%, while the Liberals sit at just 16%. When it comes to leadership impressions, Premier Houston also leads decisively at 52%, compared to NDP leader Claudia Chender at 31% and interim Liberal leader Derek Momborquette at 17%.
The momentum doesn’t stop there. Angus Reid’s latest findings reveal that more than 53% of Nova Scotians approve of Premier Houston’s leadership — further underscoring the Premier’s strong connection with voters.
Taken together, these results show what Nova Scotians already know: the Houston PCs are the clear choice to lead the province forward. With strong leadership, consistent results, and a vision for the future, the Progressive Conservatives remain the dominant force in Nova Scotia politics.
And as support continues to grow, Premier Houston and the PC team are building on this momentum — delivering results, strengthening communities, and working to unlock Nova Scotia’s full potential for years to come.
